This vulnerability was discovered and researched by Esteban Martinez Fayo of
Application Security Inc.
Details:
Cross-site scripting vulnerabilities occur when an attacker tricks a
legitimate web application into sending malicious code, generally in the form
of a script, to an unsuspecting end user. The attack usually involves crafting
a hyperlink with malicious script code embedded within it. A valid user is
likely to click this link since it points to a resource on a trusted domain.
The link can be posted on a web page, or sent in an instant message, or email.
Clicking on the link executes the attacker-injected code in the context of the
trusted web application. Typically, the code steals session cookies, which can
then be used to impersonate a valid user.
There are instances of XSS vulnerabilities in the Distributed/Cross DB
Features of Oracle Enterprise Manager. For example web page
/em/console/database/dist/advRepl/advReplicationAdmin is vulnerable to this
kind of attacks.
Impact:
Attackers might steal administrator's session cookies, thereby allowing the
attacker to impersonate the valid user.
Vendor Status:
Vendor was contacted and a patch was released.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this vulnerability.
Fix:
Apply January 2013 CPU.

Details:
Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control XML Database Resources page is
vulnerable to a Cross-Site scripting vulnerability. An attacker may inject
malicious code into the web application and trick a legitimate user to execute
it by various methods. The malicious code generally appears in the form of a
script and will be executed in the context of the legitimate user. If a
legitimate user is in a trusted domain or has already been authenticated, the
malicous user may be able to steal session cookies to impersonate a legitimate
user and perform some illegal operations on the web application.
Impact:
Attackers might steal legitimate user's session cookies to impersonate a
legitimate user and perform illegal operations.

Vendor was contacted and a patch was released.
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this vulnerability.

Advisory Details:
High-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab discovered multiple XSS vulnerabilities in glFusion, which can be exploited to perform Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
glFusion has a "bad_behaviour" plugin (installed by default) that verifies HTTP Referer, aimed to protect against spambots. The plugin also makes reflected XSS attacks against the application a little bit more complex. To bypass the security restriction PoC (Proof-of-Concept) codes for vulnerabilities 1.1 – 1.3 modify the HTTP Referer header. These PoCs were successfully tested in the latest available version of Mozilla Firefox (18.0.1) .
1) Multiple Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in glFusion: CVE-2013-1466
1.1 The vulnerability exists due to insufficient filtration of user-supplied data in "subject" HTTP POST parameter passed to "/profiles.php" script. A remote attacker can trick a logged-in user to open a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in browser in context of the vulnerable website.
